Jendamark Automation Rolls-out Odin Education Omang e-learning Tablets

Jendamark Automation, a NAACAM member, has rolled-out their Omang e-learning tablets as part of their Odin Education software system. The company has developed an e-learning device that provides affordable access to curriculum-specific educational material for schools anywhere in the country.

The distribution of devices began at the end of June, with more than 600 deployed across rural Free State schools and 75 purchased for grade 12 pupils from Nelson Mandela Bay schools enrolled in the Unity in Africa Foundation’s Incubating Great Engineering Minds (iGEMS) after-school programme.

Odin Education further donated more Omang e-learning tablets to the Grade 11 learners and their teachers at Nqweba Secondary School.

The pre-loaded devices can be bought by schools or provincial education departments at a monthly cost of R134 per pupil, including 2GB of data and full tech support. Read full article:
