Electrical Engineering was Makanya choice of qualification is due to his interests in the technological developments and advancements that have taken place in over the past few decades. He sees electrical engineering as being in the forefront of this growth. He therefore hopes to be exposed to and contribute towards the development of new technologies for several industries.
Following the completion of his studies Makanya dreams to work as instrumentation and electrical reliability engineer.
