About The Show

The NAACAM Show – an extra-ordinary initiative – held only bi-ennually, is the showcase of South Africa’s automotive manufacturing capability and engineering innovation.

It is endorsed by NAACAM’s strategic partners including the DTIC, organised business, industry associations and trade agencies, as a vital element in growing the sector.

As the largest manufacturing sector in the country’s economy, Automotive Component Manufacturing is a highly successful and substantial cog in South Africa’s economy.

Employing 115 000 people in manufacturing, with about 30 000 in assembly and the remainder in auto components and contributing 3-5% of SA’s GDP, it demands both ongoing celebration and considered attention. The NAACAM Show facilitates both.

As many exhibitors export globally (while many are global leaders), the show plays a vital role in inviting and facilitating foreign Direct Investment (FDI), skills and technology partnerships. This is enhanced by evolving trade agreements incl the expanded BRICS and AfCFTA.

The Show exposes and engages new and existing players thereby facilitating localisation and transformation
The NAACAM Show is also a critical mechanism to mobilise and equip the expanded South African auto manufacturing value-chain in order that it might collectively address salient issues and developments locally and globally (Outcomes-based dialogue).

  • Free access to the match-making program, through which appointment requests with customers, buyers and other stakeholders may be made proactively and accepted reactively.
  • Company profiles (logo and short description) in the Visitors Catalogue which is both printed and available electronically.
  • 1 x Conference Tickets

  • 2 x Lunch and Teas for stand (3mx3m package) representatives (3 x for 6mx3m package)
  • Possible time-slot on demo/interactive stage within exhibition area for launches, product or technology or innovation demos (applications approved based on audience value)

 

Additional tickets to the Conference, Gala Dinner, Site Tours and participation in the Golf Day are to be booked separately.  Additional furniture orders may also be placed on the booking platform. 

NAACAM members and non-members from across the local automotive component manufacturing value-chain are invited to showcase brands (products, services, capability and innovation) to a national and international (African) trade audience in order to:

 
  • Grow brand loyalty
  • Develop new relationships and partnerships
  • Secure deals
  • Demonstrate and develop a strong association with Southern Africa’s successful automotive manufacturing fraternity.
  • Demo, introduce or launch new tech, innovation or products

 

Entities related to the importation of components and which either do not manufacture locally nor provide ancilliary services to local manufacturers in their local manufacturing operations are not permitted to exhibit.

With a stellar line-up of leaders and experts as speakers,  the conference -running alongside the exhibition – is open to all and will address the key issues and opportunities impacting the South African automotive component manufacturing sector.
