Sumitomo Rubber South Africa, manufacturer of Dunlop Tyres SA, is taking in 100 young people for various programmes aimed at developing young talent in the dynamic world of tyre manufacturing.
The programmes being offered to the youth range from internships to learnerships and will help them make their mark in the industry. Amongst the recruited youth are 60 learners from the Ladysmith community who are completing their one-year Tyre Learnership NQF 3 programme through SRSA. 40 youth have already completed their classroom training, with another 20 gearing up to do so.
