Bosch in South Africa continues the path to support the youth of South Africa through developmental programs. Training has always been a key focus for the organisation. Over the past 15 years Skills Development Initiatives have grown to include Graduate Specialist Programme, Apprenticeship (Mechatronic and Millwright trades), Learnership, Youth Employment Service Initiative (Yes4Youth) and Work integrated Learning including Internship Programmes with the aim of contributing to growth and development of our country’s youth.
Overall, the offering opens doors for the youth in the labour market through the gained learning and experience from the Bosch South African developmental programmes. Our goal at Bosch in South Africa is to uplift communities, improve the standards of living, contribute to the reduction of the unemployment rate and ultimately provide hope for the youth of South Africa.
Training and skills development combined with working experience is the value contribution providing the youth with high probability of being employed in the industry. Our programmes consist of a diverse group of youths including those living with disabilities as well.
Graduates are being developed to take over future specialists and leadership positions, whilst apprentices are being developed to be qualified artisans employable in the Industry as a whole.
