Established in 2013, VM Automotive has two plants, one in Rosslyn, Pretoria and the second in Berlin, Eastern Cape, and is a manufacturer and supplier of aluminium and steel parts used by OEMs in the automotive industry. They are proud owners of the first, highly flexible Schuler high speed blanking line in the Southern hemisphere and 6th in the world that provides the only blanking facilities in South Africa with a capability to process aluminium 6000 and 5000.
The company has a competitive advantage by offering a Blanking Service and Blank Tooling maintenance to the OEM’s blanking requirements. They offer the processing of automotive steel and aluminium blanking, guillotining, side trimming, and trapezoidal blanks with their fully automated SIMPAC and blanking line.
The company is ISO 9001:2015 accredited, has an IATF 16949:2016 certification and is a Level 1 B-BBEE contributor.
