CRH-Africa manufactures press components and metal seat systems. They offer a complete product development process, materials engineering, tooling and manufacturing expertise and the capability to produce pressed metal components and assemblies. CRH-Africa is part of Adient and Pasdec which adds manufacturing proficiency and close collaboration between product and design engineers. Their core processes include the pressing of stainless and carbon steel components, fine blanking, CNC machining and robotic welding of flange pipe assemblies as well as seat structures. The company has three manufacturing plants in Port Elizabeth which employ 776 people and manufactures over 40 million pressed, machined and fine blanked components per annum. Their clients include OEMs such as Volkswagen, BMW and Ford, and other component manufacturers such as Faurecia and Benteler.
