Acoustex, has been nominated to supply Toyota South Africa for their newly launched Corolla Cross SUV. The contract has created additional eight new jobs and fills up available capacity caused by loss due to the COVID-19 pandemic. The company says supplying 30 000 products per annum will equate to nearly 400 000 parts per annum on their insulation division, with 85 to 90% local content. Acoustex has also received the runner-up Quality Management Award from Toyota in 2019.
