Acoustex, a NAACAM member, a Level 2 BBBEE Tier 1 supplier to the automotive industry, has been awarded the Supplier Runner Up Quality Management Award 2019 by Toyota SA Motors.
Acoustex is a Port Elizabeth-based manufacturer and supplier to the Automotive Assembly industry. The company supplies quality Sound Deadeners, Moulded Insulation parts, Carpets, Parcel Trays, Tailgate Covers, Back Panel components and Extruded products to all Automotive Assembly customers across South Africa.
Acoustex employs 140 team members, drawn from the surrounding residential areas. Factory processes include compounding, calendering, pressing, laminating, forming, injection-moulding, water-jet trimming and extrusion operations.
