#NAACAMAnnouncement: As part of its ongoing strategy to add to the value NAACAM brings to its members and the wider automotive manufacturing sector, the organisation has updated its structure to align with its grown mandate and direction.
This has led to the appointment of Nduduzo Chala (Cert.Dir.)(MBA) as Chief Operations Officer at NAACAM. Ndu will oversee the operations division, focusing on projects and initiatives aligned to the SA Automotive Masterplan 2035, including autos supplier base development, localisation and skills development initiatives. He will also continue to head up the activities of the four local tyre manufacturers.
NAACAM is also pleased to announce that Beth Dealtry has been promoted as Head of Policy and Regulatory Affairs. Beth will lead the development and implementation of NAACAM’s policy and regulatory affairs agenda as well as manage all research activities undertaken within the organisation. Beth holds a First-Class BCom Honors degree in Economics from the University of Cape Town and is completing a MCom in Competition and Regulation Economics at the University of Johannesburg.
