NAACAM Visits BMW G45 Supplier Day

The NAACAM Team attended the BMW G45 Supplier Day that took place in preparation for their upcoming vehicle launch.

The morning’s presentations focused on delivering messaging regarding the new vehicle and the importance of a collaborative effort between suppliers and BMW South Africa to ensure its success. Marking 50 years of BMW SA, the original equipment manufacturer (OEM) also took the opportunity to reaffirm its commitment to production in SA.

Included in the line-up of events was a presentation by Renai Moothilal, NAACAM CEO, on the significant progress made by many suppliers in terms of transformation. He also highlighted various routes for more suppliers to improve their B-BBEE levels in line with the SA Automotive Masterplan (SAAM35) and BMW SA strategic objectives.
