Beth holds a first-class economics honours degree and an undergraduate degree in Politics, Philosophy and Economics, both from the University of Cape Town. Following her graduation at the end of 2019, Beth joined NAACAM as an intern and has since moved into the role of Analyst.
Beth’s roles within NAACAM are varied. She is responsible for conducting research and analysis activities within NAACAM and is project managing NAACAM’s activities within the High Gear project. #HighGearSA aims to address the current skills shortages within the automotive component sector through TVET curriculum reform. Additionally, a key focus for Beth in 2021 is supporting NAACAM members to unlock new markets, particularly through localisation.
Fun fact about Beth: During a course in her Honours year, Beth was assigned the role of representing NAACAM during a class simulation of international trade negotiations.
