NAACAM announces incoming NEC for 2022/3

The 42nd NAACAM AGM, held virtually on 24 November 2021, was an important engagement platform for the association and its members. It is also, an opportunity for NAACAM to showcase initiatives and projects undertaken in the last year. The 2021 AGM was an elective AGM – where new members are elected to the NAACAM National Executive Committee (NEC).

The incoming NEC for 2022/3 includes the re-instatement of previous members and the addition of fresh new faces at national and regional levels. Ugo Frigerio (KAP Automotive) returns as the incoming President. Andrea Moz (Auto Industrial Group); Thamsanqa Arthur Mtombeni (Shatterprufe Windscreens); and Riaz Haffejee (Metair Investments Limited) are the the incoming Vice Presidents. They are supported by the following NEC members: Ashok Thakur (KLT Group Automotive & Tubular Products); Alex Holmes (MAHLE Behr;, Andy Dealtry (EBOR AUTOMOTIVE SYSTEMS); Brent Oakes (NEXTEC); Deshan Naidoo (Microfinish); Hercu Aucamp (Aveng Trident Steel); Jean-Philippe Marillet (Robert Bosch); Ken Manners (SP Metal Forgings Group); Kevin Pather (Pasdec Automotive Technologies (Pty) Ltd.); Kieron Jordaan (Purem by Eberspächer); Milos Despotovic (Maxion Wheels); Paul Myburgh (Dana Spicer Axle); Priya Mistry Govind (Smiths Manufacturing (Pty) Ltd); Reuben Olifant (Steel Best Manufacturing Services); Satya Narayan Das (MSSL Global RSA Module Engineering); and Nduduzo Chala (SATMC (South African Tyre Manufacturers Conference) ex officio.

NAACAM welcomes the incoming 2022/3 NEC and looks forward to their contribution to NAACAM’s strategic leadership and activities focused on moving the industry forward.
