NAACAM Hosts Gauteng Regional Meeting (Q1 2026)

#WeAreNAACAM: Today, NAACAM hosted the Gauteng Regional Meeting (Q1 2026) bringing together members from across the Gauteng automotive component manufacturing sector.

The purpose of the meeting was to provide members with an update on the current automotive landscape and NAACAM’s activities, and create a platform for meaningful engagement on sector-wide and Gauteng specific matters requiring NAACAM’s support.

The session opened with meeting objectives from Nomqhele Dube, NAACAM Analyst, followed by welcoming remarks from Glenn Geldenhuis, NAACAM Gauteng Regional Chair and CEO of Auto X.

This was followed by a presentation from Dylan Jessup from EY, who will presented on the latest developments in US tariffs and what they may mean for the automotive component manufacturing sector.   Members received a NAACAM industry update from Beth Dealtry, NAACAM Head of Policy and Regulatory Affairs. The meeting concluded with closing remarks from Rafaela vila Boas, NAACAM Gauteng Regional Vice Chair and GM of Sodecia Automotive Pretoria.

NAACAM is appreciative of all members who attended today’s engagement. Regional meetings remain a vital platform for collaboration, alignment and ensuring that the voice of our members continues to shape the future of South Africa’s automotive component industry. #WeAreNAACAM #NAACAMProud
